China Southern Airlines is set to make history at Sydney Airport, ramping up its flights to Guangzhou to four per day during the upcoming 2025/26 summer peak, the highest frequency ever on the route.

The expansion adds 74 return flights and nearly 44,000 extra seats over the season, growing weekly services from 21 to 28.

The company says passengers will now have more options and flexibility during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

The flights will operate on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering 28 business class seats and 269 economy class seats for a comfortable journey for both business and leisure travellers.
