Music legend Dolly Parton announced that she would have to postpone a series of shows in Las Vegas by almost a year, according to a post on the singer’s social media .

Parton made the announcement to fans on Sunday, Sept. 28, citing health concerns brought up by her doctors.

“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I’ve been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures,” the 9 to 5 singer wrote in her post.

Despite announcing that six shows in December would be pushed back to September 2026, the country music icon took things in stride.
