OHIO RIVER —

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that crews will begin repairs on the Combs-Hehl Bridge on Sunday night.

The bridge spans the Ohio River and connects Fort Thomas, Kentucky, with the Cincinnati neighborhood of California.

The first round of repairs is expected to impact eastbound traffic coming from Kentucky into Ohio.

According to KYTC, the first round of construction impacts is expected to begin at 8 p.m. on Sunday and will be completed by 5 a.m. the next morning. During that time, crews are expected to apply temporary striping to new lanes in preparation for future steel repair work.

KYTC says that the repairs will then begin at a later, yet-to-be-announced date. W
