HARTFORD, Conn. — The life of a Swiftie is nonstop, especially with Taylor Swift's 12th studio album about to drop.

"The Life of a Showgirl" is set to drop Oct. 3. The album was announced just a little more than a month prior on the New Heights podcast, hosted by Swift's fiancé's Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce.

The news builds on several big moments in the musician's career. Swift wrapped the highly acclaimed Eras Tour in December 2024 and she officially regained control over her full music catalog back in May 2025.

Since the announcement, anticipation around the album release has been electric.
