LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Pine Bluff community leaders came together Saturday evening to keep a tradition alive, one that focuses on the youth.

Gloves not Guns is a youth sports organization in the Pine Bluff area, providing an extracurricular activity for kids.

For over 20 years, the organization has used the power of the glove to address the issue of gun violence.

Through the organization's Spar Night event, kids of all ages who are registered LBC boxers took part in the meetup to kick off the upcoming season.

And through their efforts, community leaders say they have incorporated the message of nonviolence and unity, hoping to bring about change in Pine Bluff.
