Class of 2026 four-star cornerback Dorian Barney has changed his mind about his college commitment again.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder out of Carrollton High in Georgia flipped his verbal pledge from Michigan to Ole Miss on Sunday. He had been committed to the Wolverines since July 5 but had a change of heart after taking a visit to Oxford for the undefeated Rebels’ 24-19 win over No. 4 LSU on Saturday.

Barney is ranked as the No. 228 overall player and No. 22 cornerback nationally, per the 247Sports Composite. He originally committed to Alabama in May 2024 but reopened his recruitment seven months later. When he pledged to Michigan in July , Ole Miss wasn’t among his four finalists. He chose the Wolverines over Texas A&M, Georgia Tech and Penn State.
