A boss has copped intense flack on social media after suddenly cancelling his worker's annual leave request - which had already been verbally agreed upon.

A jaw dropping text conversation between a worker and their boss Danny has exploded on social media, with users left stunned by the manager's “unbelievable” act.

The worker messaged their boss stating his holiday request for the following week had been “rejected” and added that “when we spoke about it the other day you said it’d be fine?”

In a blasé reply, Danny said the company had signed a new client and that the worker had been tasked to handle the onboarding process.

“Yes, sorry matey. We’ve had a client sign up last minute and I need someone who can take them onboarding,” the boss nonchalantly wrote.
