BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Next 24 Hours: Tonight will be clear and tranquil with lows falling into the 60s for Monday morning. Monday will feature more warm sunshine with highs climbing into the upper 80s if not low 90s again in a few spots. Winds will come from the east-northeast at 10 mph, so a nice little breeze around to help with the lingering summer-like heat. A stray shower could develop in east Alabama, but most of us will stay high and dry.

The Week Ahead: Despite Imelda and Humberto off to our east over the Atlantic, our weather pattern in Central Alabama continues to look fairly quiet with relatively low rain chances.
