LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Central Park was filled with beautiful music on Sunday evening as Jazz in Central Park returned following planning issues.

In August, Councilman JP Lyniger, who sponsors the event, announced that the event would be postponed.

In a post made by Lyninger, he noted the importance of the event to the community.

The event, which kicked off at 2 p.m. on Sunday, featured live performances from Bashiri Asad, Maestro J. Darnell “Classik” Levine, and Dimestore Dandy.

Entry to the family-friendly event was free.
