SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A mix of sun and clouds along with cooler temperatures and a slight chance for Sierra showers is on tap for Sunday, but more widespread precipitation arrives starting tomorrow. A series of low pressure systems will bring chances for showers and thunderstorms from the coast to the mountains Monday through Thursday with a few lingering Sierra showers possible on Friday.
Temperatures will be below normal throughout the 7 day forecast with Wednesday expected to be the coolest day with Valley highs in the low 70s and Sierra highs in the mid 50s.
