US President Donald Trump has suggested that negotiations for a peace agreement aimed at ending the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip were at their "final stages", with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as the Arab nations and Hamas, all on board, according to Axios. The two leaders are scheduled to meet at the White House on Monday.

The President made the remarks to the news website on Sunday, just hours after he hinted in a Truth Social post about "something special" in the Middle East.

"We have a real chance for greatness in the Middle East. All are on board for something special, the first time ever. We will get it done," he posted on Saturday night.
