A Sydney crime associate has issued an apology to YouTuber Jordan Shanks-Markovina at his sentencing, after the comedian and political commentator's home was set ablaze in 2022. Tufi Junior Tauese-Auelua, 39, fronted Coffs Harbour District Court on Monday after pleading guilty to the arson attack, and another unrelated bashing attack. Courts previously heard Tauese-Auelua – an associate of the notorious Alameddine crime syndicate – torched Mr Shanks-Markovina's Bondi home about midnight on November 23, 2022.
