Cupid, a leading manufacturer of condoms and other FMCG products, expects a strong business growth with commissioning of capacity expansion at Palava plant in Maharashtra in second half of this fiscal.

Given the growing demand both in domestic and international markets and better institutional orders, the new plant will boost the supply of condoms, diagnostics and FMCG products.

The new UAE subsidiary formed recently will spearhead acquisitions and strengthen MENA presence.

This apart, UNFPA prequalification for Brown Caramel Female Condom and CE/WHO certifications in progress for diagnostics kits will support exports, said the company.
