The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday slammed AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj over his challenge to Indian T20 skipper Suryakumar Yadav to donate his match fees from all the games to the families of the Pahalgam attack victims, calling it a mockery of “our men in blue."

Calling the AAP leader “shameless", BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said that instead of apologizing to Yadav, Bharadwaj further insulted him with his “chanda" remark.

In a post on X, Poonawalla wrote, “Shameless Saurabh Bharadwaj instead of apologising to Surya Kumar Yadav throws Chanda insult at him. (sic)"
