Something that most people who know me don't know is that I actually lived in Florida twice during my life, once as a child and once as an adult. Since where I lived was not too far from Miami on both occasions, it was a city I frequented. While Miami is great (I always love the beautiful hiking trails on Florida's Key Biscayne ), a trip I took in 2025 booted Miami from my favorite place in the Sunshine State to my second-favorite.

St. Petersburg, located on Tampa Bay, is a chill version of Miami, with better beaches .
