The date for the closing of the doors of Badrinath Dham will be announced on Vijayadashami, October 2. A religious ceremony will be held at the temple complex where the almanac will be calculated and the closing date for the coming year will be announced.

The date will be announced by the Rawal in the presence of the officials of Badrinath- Kedarnath- Temple Committee (BKTC), said the media in-charge, BKTC, Harish Gaur.
