PLACER COUNTY – Caltrans is reminding motorists of various lane closures in multiple locations along State Route 49 (SR 49) as several improvement projects continue in Placer County.

Here is the breakdown for the week:

Sidewalk Gap Closure Project

Southbound between Dry Creek Road and Bell Road, various lane closures are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday, September 28 through Thursday, October 2. Work is scheduled to end for the week by 7 a.m. Friday, October 3.

Safety Barrier Project

Northbound between Lorenson Road/Florence Lane and Lone Star Road, various lane closures are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, September 29 through Friday, October 3.

Southbound between Lone Star Road and Lorenson Road/Florence Lane, various lane closures are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m
