AVOYELLES PARISH, La. (KALB) - The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office said they are looking for a man wanted on multiple charges.

Michael Wayne Murray, 32, is wanted for second-degree battery with intent to do serious bodily injury, distribution/possession of a schedule II controlled dangerous substance, illegal possession of a stolen firearm and possession of alprazolam.

Murray is described as a Black male, 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds, with brown eyes.

“This individual is wanted for serious and violent felony crimes,” said Sheriff David Dauzat. “We are asking for the public’s assistance to locate him and take him into custody safely.
