An electrical malfunction with the Flat Top Flyer chairlift at Powderhorn Sunday led to 37 people being escorted down the mountain, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
“The malfunction caused the lift to cease movement for a short period of time. Lift operators with Powderhorn were able to resolve the electrical issue to move all passengers to the top of the ski run,” a Sheriff’s Office press release stated.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
