DELLONA TOWNSHIP, Wis. (WMTV) - Three people were killed in a single-vehicle crash in Dellona Township, according to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.

Just after 10:30 a.m. Sunday, the Sauk County Communications Center said they received a call for a traffic accident on Coon Bluff Road, just north of CTH P.

Officials said initial reports showed a vehicle was traveling northbound on Coon Bluff Road at a high rate of speed, before losing control and entering a wooded area. The vehicle immediately started on fire.

Investigations showed the three people inside the vehicle died, according to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office. Their names are not being released at this time.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
