Toby Carvery diners were struck by chunks of collapsed ceiling while they tucked in to their roast dinners.

Two people were taken to Gloucester Royal Hospital after the incident at the Brockworth restaurant at around 6pm on Sunday.

Children can be heard sobbing amid clouds of billowing dust in dramatic footage taken inside the venue.

Toby Carvery has since said ‘no guests were harmed’ and insisted the building is ‘safe’.
