An urgent witness appeal continues after a 30-year-old man was 'murdered' on a Lanarkshire street.

Police have named the victim as Kevin Samuel Bowman, from Glasgow. Officers scrambled to a report of two men found injured on Hamilton Drive, in Airdrie , at around 12.15am on Thursday, September 18.

Tragically, Kevin lost his life while a 27-year-old man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. His condition remains unknown.

The family of Kevin Samuel Bowman have asked for their privacy to be respected. The police force confirmed a murder probe remains ongoing, urging anyone with information to come forward.
