Nicole Beharie is the latest addition to the cast of Netflix ‘s upcoming series adaptation of “ All the Sinners Bleed ,” Variety has learned.

Beharie will star alongside previously announced lead Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù as well as fellow cast member John Douglas Thompson . The series, based on S.A Crosby’s book of the same name, was originally announced in May as part of Netflix’s upfront presentation to advertisers.

The official logline for the series states, “Haunted by his devout mother’s untimely death, the first Black Sheriff (Dìrísù) in a small Bible Belt county must lead the hunt for a serial killer that has been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God.”
