Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage following reports of multiple crashes on Monday.

Officers are investigating reports of at least seven separate incidents allegedly involving a white Hyundai Santa Fe across the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney .

Triple-O calls from drivers began shortly before 10.30am, reporting the vehicle being driven erratically east along the Great Western Highway between Mt Victoria and Glenbrook. In addition to the seven crashes reported, some callers suggested the driver was forcing others off the road.

One crash occurred 10 minutes later and involved a Honda SUV at nearby Hazelbrook, with the Hyundai driver allegedly fleeing the scene. Soon after police were called to Glenbrook following reports a Hyundai matching the vehicle’s description and
