A 12-year-old has been identified as the sole suspect in two recent fires at a church in Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Marblehead police and fire, in conjunction with the State Fire Marshal's Office, said they are investigating two fires at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church at 85 Atlantic Avenue.

Around 11:42 a.m. on Sunday, police and firefighters responded to a small fire in the church's bathroom. They said a similar incident occurred a week earlier, on Sept. 21. In each case, the small fires were quickly extinguished, causing no permanent damage.
