Broome County, N.Y (WIVT/WBGH) In preparation for General Election, The Broome County Board of Elections are asking local residents to serve as election inspectors.

The hourly paid position is responsible for preparing polling places, checking and process voters, assist voters, shutting polling place, report the results, and more.

The workers are paid for training, orientation and hourly for each day they work. And would work on Early Voting, October 25th and 26th, and Election Day, November 4th. Early voting and open for 8 hours, while Election Day is open from 6am to 9pm.
