Grand Blanc Township — Law enforcement officials are expected to provide an update early Monday afternoon on an investigation into a mass shooting and fire on Sunday at a Genesee County church that left five people dead, including the suspect.

Police said 10 people were shot, two fatally, and at least two others were found in the aftermath of a massive fire Sunday morning at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4285 McCandlish Road in Grand Blanc Township. They said a Burton man allegedly rammed his truck through the Mormon church's entrance and began shooting.
