Warm, dry conditions are expected to stick around this week in Metro Detroit as temperatures stay around 10 degrees above normal for days, the National Weather Service said.
The NWS Detroit Office posted a forecast on X Monday that shows highs reaching the upper 70s Monday and lower 70s Tuesday and Wednesday.
"Quiet weather this week with high pressure bringing mostly clear skies. Temperatures cool a bit mid week closer to seasonal normals before warming back to around 80 this coming weekend," officials said in the post.
The extended dry period could increase chances for fire risk, especially on Tuesday, when more wind is expected, but Kyle Klein, a meteorologist at the weather service.
