A Belleville man has been charged with voyeurism following a weekend incident.

Saturday evening, Belleville Police responded to a disturbance involving five males at an east end residence.

The parties had separated by the time officers arrived but three of the males remained on scene.

Police learned the incident began as a domestic dispute between one of the males and a female regarding a video recording.

Two additional males passing by confronted the male during the dispute which escalated into an altercation involving all five male parties.

Further investigation revealed the male involved in the domestic dispute had recorded his partner without her knowledge.

A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged.

He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in Dece
