A dilapidated 17th-century mansion, in need of a complete overhaul, has hit the market for £150,000.

The Grade II listed Burghill Lodge near Hereford has been in a 'ruinous condition' for decades, with only some brickwork and timber frame remaining.

Planning permission has been granted to restore and rebuild the property into a six-bedroom house, nestled within an acre of gardens.

Now on the market as the ultimate fixer-upper project, it's estimated that renovations could cost nearly £1 million.

Originally serving as the manor for one of Europe's largest dairy farms, the house hasn't been inhabited for over a century.
