A popular American metal band has postponed their upcoming tour.

This postponement is due to the health of the lead singer, although don’t fret, he’s on the mend.

Blabbermouth reports that Matt Sanders — better known as M. Shadows, lead vocalist of California-based outfit Avenged Sevenfold — suffered a vocal injury that forced the band to call off their fall 2025 Latin American tour.

“With a heavy heart, and regretfully, we have to announce that due to a specific condition called a vocal fold hematoma, we have made the necessary decision to push our tour to early next year,” a band statement published to social media reads . “We promise to come back stronger than ever.
