Broke and Blue is set to perform Claude Bolling’s hugely popular and critically acclaimed Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio at Jazz Vespers on Oct. 5 at St. John's United Church.
The trio, from Victoria, is inspired by and specializes in the works of French jazz pianist Claude Bolling and other similar music that combines classical and jazz elements.
The Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio is a crossover composition by the jazz pianist and composer Claude Bolling, considered revolutionary when it was first released on LP in 1975.

The resulting recording stayed on Billboa
