WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. — A Michigan man's spur-of-the-moment decision to buy lottery tickets has paid off after he scratched off a $2 million win.

The 32-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought his winning 100X ticket at Fleck’s Fresh Mart in Canton. He said he doesn't usually play 100X, but "bought a few on a whim while I was at the store."

“I was scratching off one of the tickets and when I saw I matched number 11 with ‘$2MIL’ underneath, I kept asking myself: ‘What does this mean?’ because I didn’t believe I really won $2 million at first," he said.

The win still doesn't seem real to him.
