LUCEDALE — Two people have been arrested in George County after an anonymous tip led investigators to allegations of inappropriate conduct involving a minor, authorities said.

Sheriff Mitchell Mixon said the case began when a citizen reported possible misconduct involving nude photographs of a child. After an investigation, deputies arrested Brody Parker, 22, of Lucedale, on a charge of voyeurism — secretly photographing for lewd purposes. Shannon Havens, 32, of Perkinston, was charged with accessory after the fact.

“These arrests highlight our ongoing commitment to protecting children and holding accountable those who exploit or endanger minors,” Mixon said in a statement. He also commended the public for reporting the matter.
