J.K. Rowling has slapped away Emma Watson’s olive branch days after the actress addressed their years-long rift over opposing opinions of the transgender community.

The creator ripped the 35-year-old, who played Hermione Granger in the film franchise, after Watson suggested she wanted to make amends.

“Like other people who’ve never experienced adult life uncushioned by wealth and fame, Emma has so little experience of real life she’s ignorant of how ignorant she is,” Rowling said in a post on X.

“I wasn’t a multimillionaire at 14. I lived in poverty while writing the book that made Emma famous,” the best-selling author continued.
