The winter months are steadily creeping up, with more Brits than ever concerned about contracting the flu and Covid-19. One particular strain is said to be causing the most inconvenience for individuals, however, the Stratus variant.

Variant XFG and XFG.3, otherwise known as Stratus, has been slowly taking over infections in the UK, with the UKHSA confirming around 40 per cent of Covid cases in June were due to the strain.

Now, one woman has outlined her experience having Covid, stating this time around it's the "worst it's ever been." In a TikTok video, Nev (@nivismad), shared she had first started to feel unwell on August 30. She said it started out as a "little bit of congestion," with one side of her nose "blocked."
