Posh chocolate brand Läderach has officially opened its doors in the north, with its new store at the Trafford Centre causing a stir at the weekend.

The Swiss chocolatier has nine boutiques in London, including in high end department stores Harrods and Selfridges.

Now it has headed north for the first time to open its tenth UK store in a unit opposite Selfridges inside the Trafford Centre.

The brand is famous for its giant slabs of fresh chocolate which are broken by hand by shop assistants to purchase by weight - or it will cost you around £100 if you're wanting the full slab.
