AUBURN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — An Auburn Township man was arrested Wednesday on a first-degree felony drug trafficking charge after Geauga County sheriff’s detectives seized cocaine, firearms and drug paraphernalia during a search of his travel trailer, authorities said.

Detectives executed a search warrant at 18118 Auburn Road following an investigation into heavy short-term traffic at the property, according to the sheriff’s office. They recovered more than an ounce of powder cocaine, multiple firearms, digital scales, cash and other items associated with drug trafficking.

The trailer’s occupant, Alexander C. Jeffers, was taken into custody and is expected to face additional charges when the case is presented to a Geauga County grand jury, officials said.
