The Pulaski County Maroons were able to secure their first-ever (per the KHSAA) regular season sweep of their rivals in the Somerset Briar Jumpers with a 2-0 victory over them at Clara Morrow Field on Saturday night.

Pulaski was able to quickly score the first goal of the contest in just the fifth minute. Ethan da Silva found a perfectly-placed pass by Gerardy Lopez-Morales and connected with the back of the net, giving the Maroons an early 1-0 advantage. Bryson Church nearly answered back in the 15th minute, as he evaded defenders on a breakaway attempt and took a powerful shot towards the goal that bounced off the sidebar and went out of play.
