Two-wheeled way of life: Vancouver residents extol virtues of living car

Vancouver resident Alyssa Wheeler is used to fielding questions about her car-free life.

“The first thing people usually ask is, ‘How do you get groceries?’ ” she said. “They’re usually thinking about a weekly Costco-size run that you have to put in your car.”
