The Bombay High Court on Friday removed a bail condition imposed on actor Rhea Chakraborty, who was booked in a drugs case after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, of not leaving the country without prior permission from the special court.
The court also directed the prosecuting agency to return the passport to her within seven days.
A single-judge bench of Justice Neela K Gokhale on September 26 passed an order on the actor’s application, a copy of which was made available on Monday.
Rhea was arrested in September 2020 in connection with a drugs case and granted bail in October 2020 by a single-judge bench of Justice Sarang V Kotwal.
