ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH — Belmont College’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program has been accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The accreditation, granted in August, is valid through spring 2030.

The recognition requires the program to maintain strong results on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The exam is used by state boards to determine whether graduates are prepared for entry-level nursing.

Belmont ADN graduates recorded a 94.12% pass rate in 2023, 92.86% in 2024, and 85.71% in 2025. College officials noted that the program’s pass rates from 2019 through 2024 consistently exceeded state and national averages.
