Margaret Pearl Marchiano (Nelsen Funeral Home)

Margaret, known as “Margie”, was born in Detroit, MI to Marvin and Ruby Maynard. She married Dr. Robert E. Marchiano (“Bob”) and they raised their three children on Long Island, NY.

Margie loved traveling, reading, watching movies, playing with her dogs and cats, crocheting beautiful afghans, and spending time with family.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2006, as well as her partner of over 15 years, David VanWickler in 2025. She is survived by her two daughters, Shawn Marie Blaine (husband John) and Renee T. Cirella (husband Ed), and a son, Robert J. Marchiano (partner Drew). Also surviving are her five grandchildren, Kristy, Matt, Deirdre, Andrew, and Will; five great-grandchildren, Birdie, Michael, Alyssa, Shane, and L
