Phoenix moved on to the 2025 WNBA Finals with an 86-81 Game 4 semifinal win over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday evening.
Minnesota was without head coach Cheryl Reeve in Game 4 after she was suspended in the previous game for comments made about the officiating. The Lynx were also missing All-Star Napheesa Collier in Game 4 after she was injured in the closing seconds of Game 3.
The Mercury trailed 68-55 heading into the fourth quarter but pulled to 70-69 on Sami Whitcomb’s 3-pointer with 4:46 left. Bonner’s 3-pointer pushed them ahead 72-70 and she hit another 3 with 2:03 left for a 77-73 lead.
