Tonight features mostly cloudy skies with a couple of widely scattered light showers possible, mainly after midnight. The best chance to see these showers will be in our southeastern towns that are the closest to Imelda. Though Imelda will not approach our region, the storm is just close enough to where its outer bands will create light showers for us. Lows will only drop into the upper 50s with an easterly wind at five to ten miles per hour.

Tuesday keeps the clouds and a few light sprinkles around once again with Imelda still close off the Carolina coast. Areas north of I-64 won’t see much in the way of rain but our southern counties will see a few light showers, not amounting to more than a tenth of an inch of rain.
