ENDICOTT, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - The end may be near for an old restaurant building in West Endicott.
The Broome County Land Bank has scheduled a news conference to announce plans for the demolition of 737 West Main Street across from En-Joie Golf Course.
The building once housed eateries such as the Red Lion, Russell's Steak and Seafood House, Sports Authority, and, most recently, Food Fusion. However, it's been vacant for several years and left without heat.
The Land Bank purchased the building earlier this year and plans to combine the property with the parcel next door, where the Red Carpet Inn once stood.
The Land Bank tore that building down in May of last year.
