PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - In a time when it seems our whole lives revolve around the internet, connectivity is still a major challenge for many of our hometowns.
Pulaski County is entering a partnership that offers a solution for over 8,700 homes and businesses in the area.
“This is a big day, one of the biggest days in our history,” said County Administrator Jonathan Sweet.
In a digital age with online education, telemedicine and working from home, having reliable internet is crucial.
It’s a hurdle Laura Walters, Chair of Pulaski County’s Board of Supervisors, said her constituents have faced for years.
“We have people that have dropped calls. We have people that can’t stream anything. It was an issue back during COVID with internet-based school,” said Walters.
Now, there’s a sol
