TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Firefighters were able to put out a house fire in only a few minutes on Monday afternoon.

The fire started around 3:30 p.m. at a house on Valencia Street, according to the Twin Falls Fire Department. When the first engine arrived, they saw flames on the back side of the house.

Firefighters could put the fire out in less than a couple of minutes. The fire briefly threatened nearby buildings, but the fast response led to no other damage to nearby homes. There were no reported injuries.

City crews closed Valencia Street from Southwood Avenue to Pheasant Road. The Rock Creek Fire District, the Twin Falls Police Department and Magic Valley Paramedics were also on scene.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
