KETCHUM, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Lake Creek Fire north of Ketchum grew to 512 acres on Monday, according to the South Idaho Interagency Dispatch Center (IDSCC).

The Sawtooth National Forest said that crews have made good progress, with fire behavior moderated due to cloud cover and increased relative humidity. Fire managers hope to get a clearer picture of where to focus ongoing supression efforts.

Crews are focusing on keeping the fire north of Lake Creek Road and preventing it from moving west. They also reminded the public not to fly drones or access the area so firefighters can continue their efforts.
