DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Tonight's Hometown Heroes are helping central Pennsylvania families with the adoption process.

Carly's Hope Foundation hosted its inaugural golf tournament, Carly's Hope Classic, Monday at Colonial Country Club. The nonprofit is raising money for grants to give to lower to middle income families who need help adopting a child. All proceeds go toward adoption grants for Pennsylvanian families.

"It helps with if there needs to be a modification to a home to adopt a child with disabilities, as well as helping with the home care, the home study and as well as legal fees," said Lori Mader, president and founder of the foundation.
